Phonics Keyboard is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. In plain words, these are the things worth knowing.

What the app is for

Phonics Keyboard is a helper for grown-ups: hear the pure sounds children are taught in Reception in England, record them in a voice your child knows, and practise sounding out together. It supports what your child learns at school. It does not replace their teacher.

Your recordings

Recordings you make are yours. If you record someone else, such as a relative or your child's teacher, please make sure they are happy to be recorded, and happy before you share their recording. Your school may have its own rules about recording staff.

The unlock

The first sounds, s a t p i n m d, are free. One purchase unlocks every sound and every game, and covers everything added to the app later, at no extra cost. There is no subscription. Purchases are made through Apple. To ask for a refund, use Apple's Report a Problem page. If you change device, tap Restore purchase on the unlock screen.

Looking after your recordings

Recordings are kept on your device and in its normal backup. Deleting the app deletes them, so if you might want them back, use Save a copy in Family voices first.
